More new family comments...... |
Ringo became AUGGIE on monday nov.8th. sorry you haven't heard from us sooner, but he keeps us pretty busy. he took to the doggie door the day he got home with some help from his big sister SUKI. doing very well with going outside to potty, and walks on the leash. Suki likes his company most of the time and the cat tolerates him. Auggie is soooo funny and full of energy he' a laugh a minute. |
Hi There, Hope all is well with you folks. We are fine and enjoying the "Puppy". We are really enjoying the little "Rascal". She is in to everything and is getting along with her new siblings. It didn't take long for us to fall in Love with her. Last Monday Zadie had a "Run-In" with a closing door. We took her to the Vet and the x-ray showed a broken "Toe". She has a splint on the Right Front Paw but is not slowing down as much as she should (too much to discover). We take her to the Doctor at 2:00PM today for her final shots and a "Look" at the toe. Probably will do another X-Ray. Will keep you informed on how she is doing. She is really a Sweetheart. Walt and Jo |
Hi Lisa, I just wanted to let you know how Max is doing. Healthwise, he is super :) He just took a heartworm test last week, and it came back negative. He got neutered in September, so now he has a cute little smiley face tattoo on his belly :P. He weighs about 6 pounds, and the vet thinks he won't get much bigger. He is also completely potty trained and uses the doggy door like a pro. I have attached two pictures. The graduation pic is kind of old (from late July), but the grooming picture is only a couple of weeks old. His coat has gotten darker, but boy do I love it right after he gets groomed. His silvery undercoat is so soft and beautiful! His groomer says he is such a good dog during grooming. All except when she gets to his ears, of course. He finally let her pull one ear. It is a process, I guess :). The best news, of course, is that we couldn't imagine being without him. He is definitely a full-fledged member of the family. I don't know if I ever told you before, but he is the first dog I have owned since I was a little girl. My family always had cats. I was afraid that a dog would be too high maintenance, but now that we have bonded, he is my little boy! I couldn't thank you enough for him. Jamie |
Hello Lisa, How's things? Zoii, is doing very well, we have finished beginner's course of obedience training and soon to start intermediate. She is doing well in training me, and my parents. She is still mischievious and is the fastest confeti maker I have seen. She just loves to go on walks, and barks at the door if we haven't gone out for the day. She is a little under 6lbs, and still doesn't understand why she can't go under some of the furniture like she used to. She will bark at her toy when she can't retrieve when she can't get under the couch or TV stand. With treat, she has learned to do high 5, crawl, shake hands and rollover. I can hardly wait when she can do without treat. She can sit, down, stay, and leave it without treat. She likes all the attention she gets, whereever we go. At my parents house, she is the watchdog inside the house. I am glad she is part of our household and am glad I got her from you. Remember the disbelief I had, when I saw how small she was? Hope to be in touch. I keep forgetting to take pictures often. Take Care, Jesse |
HI there Lisa. It's Henrietta. Just a note to say thank you for the puppy. He is a true joy. We named him "Sartan" after the "Sartan 15" group of soldiers that my husband was deployed to Afghanistan with. We call him "Sarty" for short. All of my family has fallen in love with him, especially my husband. He was very surprised with him and took him to work with him immediately. You see, Schmitty, our schnauzer that passed away used to go to work everyday with my husband. They are bonding. Sartan has lots of people who love him and love holding him (yes!.........he's spoiled.) |
They have been sooooo good. Didn't cry when it was time for bed. Have NOT peed or pooped on paper in the X-Pen or in the house, but every time I take them outside they go. I take them out every couple of hours. They slept until 4:30 this morning and started crying so I took them out to potty. Only problem was, they were NOT ready to go back to bed for about an hour and a half :o( Jim stayed outside with them but assured me he was not going to do that every morning... darn :) They love being outdoors, we have a big yard with grass but I won't leave them out there alone. We've had big cats back there recently. Anyway, hope you enjoyed your day in town yesterday....... So far their names might be Zeke or Max and Cocoa but we aren't totally settled on names yet.....Gloria |
Hi! All IS well:) The 2nd night they got up at 3:30. I took them out for 10 minutes and they went right back to sleep when I brought them in. Last night they slept through till 5:30.... that's about the time we are getting up anyway. I'm so impressed that they came house broken! That was my greatest concern, the time it was going to take and exactly how I was going to do it. They have such cute personalities. She's the fiesty, curious one and the one we have to watch. He sticks close by. So glad we got 2 of them, they really enjoy each other. |
Hi Lisa, Gracie is doing wonderful. She loves everyone, plays like a crazy girl, is almost housebroken, and knows sit and shake. I had no idea a 9 wk old can learn that quick, and that teeth can be that sharp. She had a good checkup, and I believe she'll be spayed around Oct sometime. Thanks for everything, Jerry and Debbie |
Have been meaning to give you an update…she is a delight. She is growing quickly, both physically and her personality. She found her “voice” about a week ago. Bob takes her with him everywhere (except Costco wouldn’t let her in) and everyone thinks she is just too cute. Seems pretty calm around strangers, does well on a leash, and sleeps through the night. Still having some accidents, can’t seem to use that “voice” to get our attention. Gets her last set of shots next week and a trim (we found a groomer that does a 3 session deal specifically for puppies to get them trained and used to that experience without traumatizing them). So, we are totally happy with her and so glad we found you! Sherry |
